Summary
Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company is in constant motion, known both nationally and internationally for commissioning works by exceptional choreographers. Ririe-Woodbury is deeply invested in the language of contemporary dance and strives to be at the forefront thus providing audiences with a variety of choreographic styles in a single evening.
The Company’s repertory ranges from minimalist to multi-media dances by some of the world's best contemporary choreographers. Ririe-Woodbury is committed to produce innovative, moving and compelling work that challenges our audiences’ perceptions of what contemporary dance can be.
Involvement
Plan and execute the public relations, marketing, and fundraising events for dance performances, summer workshops, and free student matinee shows for Ririe-Woodbury Dance company. My role was to coordinate and pitch content to local media, archive visual assets as well as build entirely new digital assets, and equip the board of directors as company ambassadors in the community.
Recognition
Redesigned company website in collaboration with Third Sun Productions; launched March 2011
Funding
Planned and executed events hosting more than 6,500 elementary school students at Capitol Theatre

Coordinated media contacts and produced all editorial content; featured in Dance Magazine and local media

Redesigned the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company website to simplify the backend process, improve the audience experience, and save resources on workshop/credit card transactions.

Pitched seasonal performances with local media, such as City Weekly’s coverage of the show Cipher.
fundraising materials
Produced the Marketing Guide for the annual company fundraiser, Cabaret of Fools, which included auction guides and product marketing for each donated item for purchase.
